17th September

Had a great night ride llast night in and around Afan and not on the waymarked trails ! The trails of Afan are brilliant but there's an awful lot of natural stuff there as well. Next time you pay a visit go and explore.  

13th September

A big THANK YOU to Phil, Andrew, John, Kaj, Gary, Richard and Martin for 2 great days riding. We were spared the normal ' 4 seasoms in a day ' weather and enjoyed 2 glorious days. The lads stayed in the CLYNGWYN Bumkhouse and B&B (link coming soon) I also stayed last night and we had a great evening in the Angel.

8th September

It's funny how things turn out...... Last Friday was a full moon and Mark and I had planned a ride in the hills finishing off in a pub. It went wrong from the moment we got the bikes off the car. Firstly, I lost my back light fitting, then we failed to get Marks lights working and then a puncture. We changed the tube then spent the next 25 minutes trying to locate the bead correctly in the tyre. We just couldn't get it to sit properly and eventually gave up, put the bikes back on the car and went for a beer. Anyway, later on I had a text with an offer that was to good to refuse - I spent the early hours of the night sitting with a bottle of wine watching a White Witch performing a series of fertility spells ! Never a dull moment eh ?!
